MTC Engineering's Pistons Help Break RecordsThursday, July 5, 2012Over the past 18 months, MTC Engineering's pistons have played a key role in helping break several records and win championships. ![]() The top fuel motorcycle of Dryden/Alwine/Hogan broke the speed record in 2011 to 255 MPH. This top fuel bike runs MTC cylinder and pistons and our top fuel clutch. ![]() Land speed racer Bill Warner broke the land speed record to 311 MPH. Bill is the first motorcycle to surpass the 300 MPH mark. This bike uses our Hayabusa pistons and our Gen II lock up clutch. ![]() The vehicle has a ZX14 motor in it and uses our forged ZX14 pistons in it. It is managed by John Bull Garage in Malta. It has won several events including pole positions. ![]() Dave Beck from the UK holds the prostock et record. Dave runs MTC's block and pistons along with the Gen II clutch. ![]() Mark Paquette's funny bike broke the speed record at 181 MPH in the 1/8 mile for Pro-Mod class. He runs MTC block and pistons along with a Gen II clutch. |
