The Air Assist System is designed to work with the MTC Engineering Gen II multistage clutch and the MTC Engineering slider. We can now provide a lock up mechanism that is variable and can be actuated at any time during the pass. MTC’s system utilizes an air cylinder mounted to a redesigned billet quick access cover
It also requires modifications to the pressure plates. The pressure plate of the Gen II clutch to be modified, so that it incorporates a “pusher” design that can be pushed from both directions or if you are using it with your slider, the pressure plate must have the hardened button installed in the center of the plate.
This system is controlled by your controller and can be tied into a variety of output ports to actuate an air solenoid

SUZUKI (Ride Back Systems - Slider Clutches)
The Ride Back System was designed to allow you to drive your motorcycle to the starting line and back to the pits after your pass when using a Slider. The main feature of the system is that you can use your “stock” clutch handle and oil reservoir to engage the hydraulic cylinder. This helps keep down the cost of the conversion and no aftermarket air system is needed. The only thing you must do is pull in the clutch lever to engage the clutch. This will be a big adjustment because normally the clutch lever is pulled to “disengage” the clutch. MTC wanted to develop a system where the rider did not have to purchase a bunch of additional items (solenoid, air lines, tank, etc) to make it work. This reduces its complexity and cost. If you have a current Hayabusa Slider or GSXR1000 Slider, you normally just needs to purchase the “solid” pressure plate with the hardened button in the center to prepare the slider for the ride back system. MTC has also designed their new “RYD BAK” cover lid to fit the existing cover base, which helps reduce conversion costs.
